FX’s ‘Legion’ Adds Jemaine Clement; Showrunner Noah Hawley Talks Professor X By Angie Han/Oct. 10, 2016 1:30 pm EST For starters, series creator Noah Hawley has announced that Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords) will be joining Dan Stevens and Aubrey Plaza in the cast. Meanwhile, the producers also touched a bit on the show’s connection (or lack thereof) to the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe. And to top it all off, there’s a new Legion poster to take in as well....

According to Deadpool screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, the breakout character played by Brianna Hildebrand, was chosen to be in Deadpool solely because she had a cool name (which itself was borrowed from the stoner rock band Monster Magnet)....

It’s unclear if that’s a real problem for the series at the moment, but the makers of the show are still busy squaring away some rights issues. According to TNT, the anthology series is still moving forward; it’s just run into some complications....

Michelle Rodriguez Joins Robert Rodriguez’s ‘Alita: Battle Angel’ By Jack Giroux/Feb. 22, 2017 4:30 pm EST Filming just wrapped on director Robert Rodriguez and screenwriter James Cameron’s Alita: Battle Angel, but another cast member has just been announced. Michelle Rodriguez, who’s worked with both Rodriguez and Cameron, is a part of the adaptation of Yukito Kishiro’s Japanese manga. The news comes only a few short weeks after we learned Jennifer Connelly has a role in the 3D sci-fi action movie....
