‘Overlord’ Extended Preview Coming To IMAX Theaters To Promote WWII-Set Sci-Fi Horror Thriller By Ben Pearson/Aug. 23, 2018 4:00 pm EST At CinemaCon earlier this year, producer J.J. Abrams explained that Julius Avery’s upcoming movie Overlord, a sci-fi horror thriller set during World War II, is not a Cloverfield film. Abrams promised that a “proper” Cloverfield sequel is on the way, leaving us to wonder if Overlord truly is just simply a low budget, standalone thriller from Bad Robot Productions, or whether Abrams, the master manipulator, is trying to pull the wool over our eyes once again....

‘Shazam!’ First Look: Zachary Levi Sports A Classic Costume By Hoai-Tran Bui/Feb. 27, 2018 10:58 am EST It seems like every “first look” we get of superhero movies these days are from a quickly snapped photo taken on set. The Disaster Artist Photo James Franco Becomes The Artist

‘The Disaster Artist’ Photo: James Franco Becomes The Artist By Jack Giroux/Feb. 13, 2017 12:00 pm EST Almost three years ago, James Franco optioned the rights to Greg Sestero’s book The Disaster Artist, which the actor wrote about the experience of making The Room. The Room, of course, is director/writer/star Tommy Wiseau’s cult midnight classic, a movie made with significantly more passion than skill. The Lost City Of Z Trailer Charlie Hunnam Looks For The Ultimate Piece Of The Human Puzzle

‘The Lost City Of Z’ Trailer: Charlie Hunnam Looks For The Ultimate Piece Of The Human Puzzle By Ethan Anderton/Feb. 2, 2017 12:30 pm EST This has even more footage that we hadn’t seen in the previous trailers for the long-developing film from director James Gray. It’s even more ominous, and the editing does a nice job of hiding the fact that Fawcett disappeared sometime in 1925. That’s not a spoiler since the official synopsis (below) says as much, but the cutting of the trailer makes it seem as if he returns from the perilous adventure, even though that’s not the case....
