However, there were plenty of X-Men fans who just couldn’t get past how lame of a villain Apocalypse was, how boring the story turned out to be, and why none of the X-Men had aged a day despite being a decade later than X-Men: Days of Future Past. Now an X-Men Apocalypse Honest Trailer really digs into what makes this sequel bad, and it doesn’t hold back anything.

Here’s the X-Men Apocalypse Honest Trailer from Screen Junkies:

Perhaps the biggest problem with X-Men: Apocalypse is how it tries to rely on Mystique as the lead, seemingly because Jennifer Lawrence is a big star. But following her flip flop yet again and struggle with being a hero as opposed to a villain is getting really tiresome, and as a character, she’s just no longer interesting enough to sustain the franchise. You can almost be sure that she’s going to turn dark again. After all, Cyclops has to become the leader of the X-Men at some point, right? Does anyone even care anymore after this?
